The app provides options to select a preset gait distance or enter a custom measurement according to clinical needs.

With a single tap on the on-screen control, users can calculate the gait speed efficiently. The app also facilitates saving gait speed data in a history section with generic timestamps or securely behind a password-protected patient information section.

Gait speed is an essential functional metric utilized by physical therapists and physicians to assess an individual's safety, confidence, and walking efficacy.

This mobile application supports clinicians in timing patients over specified distances, enhancing outpatient assessments.

• Activate the timer using either the external top volume button or the large on-screen button for multiple trials.
• Calculate gait speed with a single press—results are displayed in meters per second (m/s), aligning with research standards.
• Maintain patient privacy by saving, editing, and protecting data within the application.

User Settings include options to password protect sensitive information, customize the default gait distance (options include 3 meters, 4 meters, 5 meters, or 10 feet), with results consistently shown as m/s. Additionally, users can email gait data directly for remote documentation purposes.
